Draft Order laid before Parliament under paragraph 15 of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.

ROAD TRAFFIC

Whereas a draft of the following Order has been approved by resolution of each House of Parliament:

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, as respects England, the Secretary of State for Wales, as respects Wales, and the Secretary of State for Scotland, as respects Scotland, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 124 of and paragraph 15 of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation 1984^f1, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:–

Paragraphs 13 and 14 of Schedule 9 were amended by the Local Government Act 1985 (c. 51), section 8 and Schedule 5, and paragraph 13 was also amended by paragraph 37 of Schedule 4 to the Road Traffic Act 1991 (c. 40). There are other amendments to paragraph 13 which are not relevant to this Order.
