  "text": "(1) The Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 is amended as follows.\n(2) In section 50A(3) of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (provision of information to the police etc.)—\n(a) at the end of paragraph (a), for “, and” substitute a semicolon;\n(b) at the end of paragraph (b), insert—\n“;\n(c) the Chief Constable of the British Transport Police Force;\n(d) the Chief Constable of the Civil Nuclear Constabulary;\n(e) the Chief Constable of the Ministry of Defence Police;\n(f) the Director General of the National Crime Agency;\n(g) the Provost Marshal of the Royal Navy Police;\n(h) the Provost Marshal of the Royal Military Police;\n(i) the Provost Marshal of the Royal Air Force Police;\n(j) the Provost Marshal for serious crime;\n(k) the Chief Constable of the Isle of Man Constabulary;\n(l) the Chief Officer of the States of Jersey Police Force;\n(m) the Chief Officer of the salaried police force of the Island of Guernsey.”.",

Subsection 3 was inserted by S.I. 2010/1154 and amended by paragraph 65(3) and (4) of Schedule 9 to the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (c. 9) and S.I. 2013/602. There are other amendments to section 50A that are not relevant to this Order."
