# The School Finance (England) Regulations 2006, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Regulations laid before Parliament under section 138(5) of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(1)
In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by sections 45A, 45AA, 47, 48(1) and (2) and 138(7) of, and paragraph 1(7)(b) of Schedule 14 to, the School Standards and Framework Act 1998, the Secretary of State for Education and Skills makes the following Regulations:
In accordance with section 138(5)(c) and (d) of that Act, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
