Paragraph 7 Special educational provision

Expenditure in respect of specialist support provided to assist the governing bodies of schools in meeting the particular needs of pupils with statements of special educational needs, or who are within the scope of School Action Plus as described in the Code of Practice^f1 issued under section 313 of the 1996 Act (such expenditure that it would be inappropriate to expect to be met from the school’s budget share).
