  "text": "(1) Schedule 18 to the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (appeals against exclusion of pupils) shall be amended as follows.\n(2) In paragraph 8, the following shall be omitted—\n(a) in sub-paragraph (2), the words “Subject to sub-paragraph (3),”; and\n(b) sub-paragraph (3).\n(3) In paragraph 10 there shall be inserted at the end—\n“(3) The appeal panel may from time to time adjourn the hearing.”.",
