# The Scotland’s Adoption Register Regulations 2016, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Regulations laid before the Scottish Parliament under section 117(5) of the Adoption and Children (Scotland) Act 2007, for approval by the Scottish Parliament.

Coming into force 1st April 2016
The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 13A(2) of the Adoption and Children (Scotland) Act 2007 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
In accordance with section 117(5) of that Act, a draft of these Regulations has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
