Regulation 2 Application of 2005 Act

(1)

Section 16(1) of the 2005 Act does not apply in relation to any action taken by a SCIO of the type described in paragraphs (b) and (c) of section 16(2) of that Act.

(2)

A SCIO may apply to be removed from the Register only in accordance with regulations 3 or 4 (and section 18 of the 2005 Act accordingly does not apply in relation to a SCIO).
