# The Scottish Child Payment Regulations 2020, Regulation 10: Meaning of “partner”


A person (“A”) is the partner of another person (“B”) on a day only if, on that day, A and B would be regarded as a couple for the purposes of Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act 2012 (see section 39 of that Act).
