# The Scottish Child Payment Regulations 2020, Regulation 16: Meaning of “assessment period” in relation to universal credit


“Assessment period” means a period in respect of which universal credit may be payable to the individual in question in accordance with section 7 of the Welfare Reform Act 2012.
