Article 2 Interpretation

In this Order—

• “the 2011 Order” means the Scottish Local Government Elections Order 2011^f1;

• “proper officer” has the same meaning as in section 235(3) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973^f2; and

• “returning officer” means the officer who is currently appointed for the purposes of section 41(1) of the Representation of the People Act 1983^f3.
