Article 1 Citation, commencement and transitional provision

This Order may be cited as the Scottish Local Government Elections Amendment (No. 2) Order 2016 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

The amendments made by this Order do not apply in relation to an election for which the date of poll is before 4th May 2017.
