# The Scottish Parliament (Disqualification) Order 2015, Introduction: Introductory text


This draft Order replaces the one laid on 22nd June 2015 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that draft Order.
Draft Order in Council laid before the Scottish Parliament under section 115(1) of, and paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 7 to, the Scotland Act 1998 for approval by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.

This Order is made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 15(1) and (2) of the Scotland Act 1998 and all other powers enabling Her Majesty to do so.
In accordance with section 115(1) of, and paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 7 to, that Act a draft of this Order was laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
Accordingly, Her Majesty is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:
