# The Scottish Parliament (Elections etc.) Order 2015, Article 50: Where no return and declaration is needed


Notwithstanding anything in articles 47 and 48, no return or declaration as to election expenses shall be required in the case of a person—
(a) who is a candidate, but is so only because that person has been declared by others to be a candidate; and
(b) who has not consented to the declaration or taken any part as a candidate at the election.
