# The Secure Accommodation (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2016, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Regulations laid before the Scottish Parliament under section 44A(7) of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995 for approval by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.

Coming into force 1st February 2016
The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 44A(5) and (6) of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
In accordance with section 44A(7) of that Act, a draft of these Regulations has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
