Draft Order laid before Parliament under section 15(11)(b) of the Representation of the People Act 1983 for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.

Coming into force in accordance with article 1(2)
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 15(9) and (10) of the Representation of the People Act 1983f1.
In accordance with section 15(11)(a) of that Act he has consulted the Electoral Commission.
In accordance with section 15(11)(b) of that Act a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.

1983 c.2. Section 15 was amended by paragraph 8 of Schedule 1 to the Representation of the People Act 2000 (c.2) and by paragraph 4(b) of Schedule 2 to S.I. 1995/1948. Subsections (9) to (12) of that section were added by section 13(1) of the Electoral Administration Act 2006 (c.22).
