# The Sex Discrimination Act 1975 (Amendment) Regulations 2007, Regulation 15: Sport


At the end of section 44 (sport etc) (which becomes subsection (1)) insert—
“(2) Subsection (1) applies to discrimination under sections 29 to 31 which falls within section 2A, only if the discrimination is necessary to secure—
(a) fair competition, or
(b) the safety of competitors,
at such events.”
