# The Social Security Amendment (New Deal) Regulations 1998, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security Amendment (New Deal) Regulations 1998 and shall come into force on 1 June 1998.
(2) In these Regulations, “the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations” means the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations 1996.
