  "text": "PART 1\nPersonal Allowances\n1 The amounts specified in column (2) below in respect of each person or couple specified in column (1) shall be the amounts specified for the purposes of regulations 22(a) and 23(a) and (b)—\nColumn (1)\nColumn (2)\nPerson or Couple\nAmount\n(1) Single claimant aged—\n(1)\n(a)\nless than 25;\n(b)\n(a)\n£46.85;\n(b)\nnot less than 25.\n(c)\n(b)\n£59.15.\n(2) Lone parent aged—\n(2)\n(a)\nless than 18;\n(a)\n(a)\n£46.85;\n(b)\nnot less than 18.\n(b)\n(b)\n£59.15.\n(3) Couple—\n(3)\n(a)\nwhere both members are aged less than 18;\n(a)\n£70.70;\n(b)\nwhere at least one member is aged not less than 18.\n(b)\n£92.80.\n2 (1) The amounts specified in column (2) below in respect of each person specified in column (1) shall, for the relevant period specified in column (1), be the amounts specified for the purposes of regulations 22(b) and 23(c)—\nColumn (1)\nColumn (2)\nChild or Young Person\nAmount\nPerson in respect of the period—\n(a)\nbeginning on that person’s date of birth and ending on the day preceding the first Monday in September following that person’s sixteenth birthday;\n(a) £47.45;\n(b)\nbeginning on the first Monday in September following that person’s sixteenth birthday and ending on the day preceding that person’s twentieth birthday.\n(b) £47.45.",
