Article 23 Amendment of the Social Security (Contributions Credits for Parents and Carers) Regulations 2010

The Social Security (Contributions Credits for Parents and Carers) Regulations 2010^f1 are amended as follows.

In regulation 7 (additional period in respect of entitlement to carer's allowance or carer support payment and relevant benefits)—

(a)

in paragraph (1)—

(i)

in sub-paragraph (a), for “carer support payment under” substitute “the carer support payment component of carer support given in accordance with”;

(ii)

in sub-paragraph (b), for “carer support payment” substitute “the carer support payment component of carer support”;

(b)

in paragraph (2), after “payment” insert “of the carer support payment component of carer support”.
