# The Social Security Up-rating (Scotland) Order 2026, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) This Order may be cited as the Social Security Up-rating (Scotland) Order 2026.
(2) Subject to paragraphs (3) and (4), this Order comes into force on 1 April 2026.
(3) Articles 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 come into force on 6 April 2026.
(4) Article 5 comes into force on 9 April 2026.
(5) In this Order “the 1992 Act” means the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992.
