  "text": "Draft Regulations laid before Parliament under section 68(6) of the Space Industry Act 2018, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.\nSpace Industry\nMade 2021\nComing into force ***\nThe Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by—\n(a) sections 2(7), 3(5), 4(2) and (4), 5(2)(a) to (c), 7(6)(a) to (e), 8(5) to (7), 9(2), (3), (5) and (6), 10(b), 13(3), 16(1) and (2)(a) to (c), 17(1) and (3), 18(1), (4) and (5), 19(1), 23(1), 26(3), 34(3)(a), (5) and (6), 35(5)(b), 36(3)(a), 54, 56(4), 59(2), 66(1) and (3), 68(1) to (3) of,\n(b) Schedule 2 to,\n(c) paragraphs 1(1), 1(3)(a) and (b), 2(1) and (3), 3(1) and (2), 5(a), 6(1)(c) and (3) of Schedule 3 to, and\n(d) paragraphs 1(1), (2), (4) and (5) of Schedule 5 to,\nthe Space Industry Act 2018, makes the following Regulations.\nIn accordance with section 4(2) of that Act, the Secretary of State is satisfied that in the cases set out in these Regulations, the requirement for an operator licence is not necessary to secure public safety, to secure the health and safety of individuals taking part in spaceflight activities in a role or capacity prescribed under section 17(1) or to secure compliance with the international obligations of the United Kingdom.\nIn accordance with section 68(7) of that Act, the Secretary of State has carried out a public consultation.\nIn accordance with section 68(6) and (7) of that Act, a draft of this instrument and a report about the consultation have been laid before Parliament.\nIn accordance with section 68(6) of that Act, the draft has been approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.",
