# The Special Educational Needs (Direct Payments) (Pilot Scheme) Order 2011, Paragraph 12: Permission of school or college


A local authority may not make direct payments in respect of goods or services which will be used or provided in a school or college unless the head teacher, principal or the person occupying an equivalent position at the school or college agrees.
