  "heading": "Income for the purposes of the 2002 Act",
  "text": "For the purposes of section 15(1)(j) of the 2002 Act, the following descriptions of income are prescribed—\n(a) any benefit payable under the Pneumoconiosis, Byssinosis and Miscellaneous Diseases Benefit Scheme 1983;\n(b) in respect of benefit under the 1992 Act—\n(i) incapacity benefit under section 30A;\n(ii) widowed mother’s allowance under section 37;\n(iii) widow’s pension under section 38;\n(iv) widowed parent’s allowance under section 39A;\n(v) bereavement allowance under section 39B;\n(vi) retirement pension under any of sections 44, 48A to 48BB and 51;\n(vii) severe disablement allowance under section 68;\n(viii) carer’s allowance under section 70;\n(ix) disablement pension under section 103;\n(x) industrial death benefit under section 106(f) and Part 6 of Schedule 7;\n(xi) workmen’s compensation under section 111 and Schedule 8;\n(xii) income support under section 124;\n(c) a pension from an occupational pension scheme, within the meaning given by section 1 of the Pension Schemes Act 1993;\n(d) jobseeker’s allowance under the Jobseekers Act 1995;\n(e) a tax credit under the Tax Credits Act 2002;\n(f) employment and support allowance under Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act 2007;\n(g) earnings, within the meaning given by Parts 1 to 5 of the 1992 Act (see sections 3(1) and 112, and the definition of “employment” in section 122, of that Act);\n(h) income deemed to be yielded from capital in accordance with regulation 28.",
