Article 5 Appropriate audit authority

The functions of the second designated body include the receipt of notices under sections 522 and 523 of the Act (notice of auditor ceasing to hold office) (and accordingly the second designated body is the appropriate authority under section 525(1)(a)(ii) of the Act (notices concerning auditors ceasing to hold office)).
