# The Statutory Shared Parental Pay (General) Regulations 2014, Regulation 11: When statutory shared parental pay (birth) is not to be paid


(1) Statutory shared parental pay (birth) is not payable after the day before C’s first birthday (or where more than one child is born as a result of the same pregnancy the first birthday of the first child so born).
(2) Statutory shared parental pay (birth) is not payable to M before the end of M’s maternity pay period.
