# The Teachers’ Pension Scheme (Consequential Provisions) Regulations 2015, Regulation 2: Interpretation


In these Regulations—
“the 1993 Act” means the Pension Schemes Act 1993;
“the 2013 Act” means the Public Service Pensions Act 2013;
“the new scheme” means the scheme established by regulation 2 of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme Regulations 2014; and
“the old scheme” means the scheme constituted by regulations made under section 9 of the Superannuation Act 1972.
