# Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) Order 2001, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Order laid before Parliament under section 123(4)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2000, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.
PREVENTION AND SUPPRESSION OF TERRORISM
Made 2001
Coming into force 2001
Whereas the Secretary of State believes that the organisations set out in article 2 of the following Order are concerned in terrorism;
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred upon him by section 3(3)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2000, hereby makes the following Order; a draft of which has been laid before and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament:
