# The Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) Order 2006, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Order laid before Parliament under section 123(4)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2000, for approval by resolution of each House.
PREVENTION AND SUPPRESSION OF TERRORISM
Made 2006
Coming into force 2006
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3(3)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2000;
In accordance with section 3(4) of that Act, the Secretary of State believes that the organisations listed in article 2 of the following Order are concerned in terrorism;
In accordance with section 123(4)(a) of that Act, a draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
