# The Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) Order 2025, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Order laid before Parliament under section 123(4)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2000 (c.11), for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.
PREVENTION AND SUPPRESSION OF TERRORISM
Made
Coming into force in accordance with article 1(2)
The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(3)(a) and (c) of the Terrorism Act 2000.
The Secretary of State believes that the organisations to be added to Schedule 2 to that Act by article 2 of this Order are concerned in terrorism.
In accordance with section 123(4)(a) of that Act, a draft of this Order has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
