# The Transport Act 2000 (Consequential Amendments) Order 2001, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Order laid before Parliament under section 277(3) of the Transport Act 2000 for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.

Coming into force 2001
Whereas a draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament and approved by each House of Parliament in pursuance of section 277(3) of the Transport Act 2000.
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 277(1) of that Act hereby makes the following Order:
