# The Transport (Scotland) Act 2019 (Consequential Provisions and Modifications) Order 2023, Article 15: Defamation


For the purposes of the law relating to defamation, absolute privilege attaches to any decision made or notice given by the CMA in the exercise of any of the CMA’s functions under this Chapter.
