Paragraph 1

Section 5 of the National Debt Act 1889^f1 applies in relation to eligible Treasury bills with the following modifications–

(a)

for “Treasury bills”, substitute, “The record (whether or not in the form of a document) containing the terms of an eligible Treasury bill”;

(b)

for “be impressed or affixed by machinery or otherwise”, substitute “appear in the record”.
