Regulation 20 Benefit Cap

Part 7 of the Universal Credit Regulations (The Benefit Cap) does not apply to a person who was permitted to claim universal credit by these Regulations (including a person to whom regulation 13(4)(a) applies), or to a person to whom an award of universal credit has been made without a claim in accordance with these Regulations.
