# The Unmanned Aircraft (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020, Introduction: Introductory text


This draft Statutory Instrument supersedes the draft instrument of the same title which was laid before Parliament and published on 15th October 2020 (ISBN 978-0-348-21373-7). It is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that draft Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 8(1) and 23(1) of, and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 and section 41(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Act 2020, makes the following Regulations.
In accordance with paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, a draft of these Regulations has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
