  "text": "(1) Article 6 is amended as follows.\n(2) In paragraph 1, omit “Union”.\n(3) In paragraph 2, in the second subparagraph—\n(a) for “an EU declaration” substitute “a declaration”;\n(b) for “CE marking” substitute “UK marking”.\n(4) In paragraph 3, omit “EU”.\n(5) In paragraph 5—\n(a) omit “within the meaning of Decision 768/2008/EC”;\n(b) omit “EU” in both places.\n(6) In paragraph 6, for “a language easily understood by end-users and market surveillance authorities” substitute “English”.\n(7) In paragraph 7, for “a language which can be easily understood by consumers and other end-users, as determined by the Member State concerned” substitute “English”.\n(8) In paragraph 8, omit “EU” in each place it occurs.\n(9) In paragraph 9—\n(a) for “market surveillance authority” substitute “market surveillance authorities”;\n(b) omit “of the Member States in which they made the product available on the market”.\n(10) In paragraph 10—\n(a) for “a competent national authority” substitute “a market surveillance authority”;\n(b) for “a language which can be easily understood by that authority” substitute “English”.\n(11) In paragraph 11, omit “of the MS of their principal place of business”.",
