  "text": "(1) Article 8 is amended as follows.\n(2) In paragraphs 1 and 2, omit “Union”.\n(3) In paragraph 2—\n(a) in point (c) for “CE marking” substitute “UK marking”;\n(b) in the un-numbered paragraph after point (e), for “competent national authorities” substitute “market surveillance authorities”.\n(4) In paragraph 3, for “a language easily understood by end-users and market surveillance authorities” substitute “English”.\n(5) In paragraph 4, for “a language which can be easily understood by consumers and other end users, as determined by the Member State concerned” substitute “English”.\n(6) In paragraph 7—\n(a) for “the applicable Union harmonisation legislation” substitute “this Regulation or any other relevant enactment”;\n(b) omit “of the Member States in which they made the product available on the market”.\n(7) In paragraph 8, omit “EU”.\n(8) In paragraph 9—\n(a) for “the competent national authority” substitute “a market surveillance authority”;\n(b) for “a language which can be easily understood by that authority” substitute “English”.\n(9) In paragraph 10—\n(a) for “market surveillance authority” substitute “market surveillance authorities”;\n(b) omit “of the MS of their principal place of business”.",
