# The Unmanned Aircraft (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020, Regulation 59: Amendment of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947 of 24 May 2019 on the rules and procedures for the operation of unmanned aircraft


(1) Article 2 is amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph (4), for “competent authority” substitute “Secretary of State”.
(3) Omit paragraph (6).
(4) In paragraph (9), for “a competent authority” substitute “the CAA”.
(5) In paragraph (10), for “a Member State” substitute “the United Kingdom”.
(6) In paragraph (15), for “Member States” substitute “the CAA”.
(7) In paragraph (19), omit “Union”.
(8) Omit paragraphs (20), (28), (29), (30), (31), (32) and (33).
(9) At the end of paragraph (34) insert—
“;
(35) ‘CAA’ means the Civil Aviation Authority”.
