Regulation 102 Amendment to paragraph 7

In paragraph 7 (duties when a product is prescribed or supplied)—

(a)

the existing text is renumbered as sub-paragraph (1);

(b)

in that sub-paragraph after “who prescribes” insert “a veterinary medicinal product under the cascade or”;

(c)

after that sub-paragraph insert—

“(2)

A person who prescribes antimicrobials must ensure that the product is prescribed for the most limited period that is consistent with the risk to be addressed.”.
