The amendments also extend the effect of a supplier’s obligations regarding provision of payments in response to rebate notices and the Secretary of State’s discretion to disapply the requirement to comply with a rebate in certain circumstances. This supports amendments that are intended to be made to the Secretary of State’s eligibility statement for the scheme by allowing more time for rebates to be issued.",
