in paragraph (2), before “scheme period” insert “first”;

in paragraph (3), before “scheme period” insert “first”;

after paragraph (3) insert—

“(4)

The scheme also has effect during the period from the third commencement date to 31st March 2018 (“the second scheme period”).

(5)

The following duties and powers continue to apply after the end of the second scheme period—

(a)

the duties of scheme suppliers under regulations 9(6) and (7), 14(3A) and 30(3);

(b)

the duty of the Secretary of State under regulation 10;

(c)

the duties of the Authority under regulation 29; and

(d)

the powers of the Authority under regulation 30(1) and (2).”.
