Regulation 3 Waste and Emissions Trading Act 2003

Section 37 of the Waste and Emissions Trading Act 2003^f1 is amended as follows.

In subsection (2), as it extends to England and Wales and Scotland, at the end insert “, as last amended by Council Regulation (EU) 2017/997”.

For subsection (2), as it extends to Northern Ireland, substitute—

“(2)

For the purposes of this section, “the Waste Directive” means Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on waste, as last amended by Council Regulation (EU) 2017/997.”.
