# The Welsh Zone (Boundaries and Transfer of Functions) Order 2010, Article 2: Interpretation


In this Order—
“co-ordinate” means a co-ordinate of latitude and longitude on the World Geodetic System 1984;
“Northern Ireland zone” has the same meaning as in the Northern Ireland Act 1998;
“the transfer date” means the date on which articles 4 to 8 come into force.
