# The West Yorkshire Combined Authority Order 2014, Article 6: Abolition and transfer of functions


(1) The West Yorkshire integrated transport area is dissolved and the ITA is abolished.
(2) On the abolition of the ITA—
(a) its functions; and
(b) its property, rights and liabilities,
are transferred to the Combined Authority.
