# The Drainage Trusts (Dissolution) Order (Northern Ireland) 2006, Introduction: Introductory text


DRAINAGE
Made 26th June 2006
Coming into operation 31st July 2006
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 29A of the Drainage (Northern Ireland) Order 1973:
It appears to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development that the trusts listed in the Schedule to this Order are trusts to which Article 29A of the 1973 Order applies:
In accordance with Article 29A(3) and (4) of the 1973 Order the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has published a notice of intention to dissolve the trusts in the Belfast Gazette and in two newspapers circulating in the area to which the trust relates:
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has considered any objections received in accordance with Article 29A(4) of the 1973 Order and is satisfied that the dissolutions would not subject any person to a significant detriment:
Accordingly the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development makes the following Order:
