# The Driver Information Systems (Exemption) Order 1990, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 12th April 1990
Coming into force 1st June 1990
The Secretary of State for Transport as respects England, the Secretary of State for Scotland as respects Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales as respect Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 9(2) of the Road Traffic (Driver Licensing and Information Systems) Act 1989 , and of all other enabling powers, hereby make the following Order:
