# The Drivers’ Hours and Tachographs (Amendment) Regulations 2023, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of defects in S.I. 2022/1260 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

Made 5th July 2023
Laid before Parliament 6th July 2023
Coming into force 21st August 2023
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 11 and 41A(1) of Regulation (EU) No 165/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 February 2014 on tachographs in road transport.
