# The Driving Instruction (Compensation Scheme) Regulations 2012, Paragraph 4


A notification under paragraph 3 may include a request for the applicant’s consent for the Secretary of State to make reasonable enquiries of a person who holds information that is relevant to the applicant’s claim, for the purpose of substantiating any part of the applicant’s claim.
