# The Driving Licences (Exchangeable Licences) (Amendment) Order 2002, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 21st June 2002
The Secretary of State for Transport, being no longer satisfied that satisfactory provision is made by the laws of Kenya as respects the grant of driving licences to drive motor vehicles and having consulted representative organisations in accordance with section 108(3) of the Road Traffic Act 1988, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 108(2) of that Act hereby makes the following Order:
