# The Durham Fire Services(Combination Scheme) Order 1996, Paragraph 22


The Authority shall have the power to pay out of the combined fire service fund compensation to persons employed by Durham County Council who in consequence of this scheme, or anything done thereunder, suffer direct pecuniary loss by reason of the determination of their appointments or the diminution of their emoluments.
