# The Dutch Elm Disease (Local Authorities) (Amendment) Order 1988, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 30th March 1988
Coming into force 1st May 1988
The Forestry Commissioners, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 3(1), (2) and 5(1) of the Plant Health Act 1967, as read with section 20 of the Agriculture (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1972, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
